Almanac de Goettingue pour l’Annee de 1801. Dans la librairie de Dieterich. 1801.

The Almanac de Goettingue was published between 1776 and 1812. It was regarded as one of the best illustrated almanacs in Germany. Göttingen is an old German city which was founded between 1150 and 1200. It has a famous university (Georg-August-Universität) which was founded  in 1737. For us this 1801 edition is important because in this edition plates from Stedmans Narrative can be found. Also the Jamaican leader of the slave rebellion Leonhard Parkinson is portrayed here.
